Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello might have kept their poise and walked separately at the red carpet of 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, but the couple was seen having all out fun at the after party.

The official Twitter account of 95-106 Capital FM tweeted a video of Mendes and Cabello, together with the “Before You Go” singer Lewis Capaldi, singing One Direction’s “Steal My Girl.”

Mendes, Cabello and Capaldi were caught on camera again singing “Someone You Loved.” That moment was shared by Shawn & Camila HQ on Twitter.

Earlier, Cabello went down Grammy’s red carpet with her father. The 22-year-old singer was set to perform during the awards night. Cabello sang the “First Man,” a song that was dedicated to her father, Elle reported.

The song was very emotional that it brought tears to the eyes of Cabello’s dad. This soul-touching performance did not go unnoticed by netizens as one Twitter user commended the singer’s performance, describing it as soft, raw and beautiful.

Mendes and Cabello were nominated for the category of Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their collaboration song “Señorita.” Unfortunately, this category was won by Lil Nas X Featuring Billy Ray Cyrus for their song “Old Town Road,” CNN reported.

Cabello and Mendes might have not walked together at Grammy’s red carpet but the pair was photographed living the after party holding each other’s hands. This precious moment was shared by DML Media on its official Twitter account.

Mendes and Cabello’s relationship started with well… friendship. The then-friends turned into couple were in a tour together and as Cabello recalled, she rarely saw Mendes during the tour. The young songstress reportedly told Variety that the “Stitches” singer was the most dedicated and driven person she knew, according to Vulture. Mendes would reportedly go on-stage and afterwards, go straight to his tour bus and practice his guitar.

The couple’s first collaboration was the song “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” At the birth of this song, Mendes and Cabello were just at this friend-zone level. Their friendship (or courtship) continued thereafter. The Mendes-Cabello thing went on as they flood the social media with their exchange of sweet —for lack of better term— words.

Just like any other relationships, theirs were also accused as an “act,” “ploy” or popularity stunt. That has always been the struggle of couples in the entertainment industry that’s why they’d like to keep their privacy as much as possible. As for Cabello and Mendes, they couldn’t care any less.
