A sheep has wandered into a lavish hotel in Wales, U.K. apparently to explore luxury living.

A hilarious video was shared on Facebook by the Premier Inn Holyhead's hotel staff on Thursday, where the "sheepish guest" looks straight into the camera as someone films it.

The wayward sheep, nicknamed Sidney by the hotel staff, appears to wait for a lift as it stands just outside the elevator doors in a hallway.

"Oh my god," the hotel staff behind the camera can be heard saying as the ram stares back at them.

"One very sheepish looking guest! Help us caption this and we'll let you know the baaaaaaahst one - you herd it here first..." The hotel staff cheekily captioned the post.

The post was met with hilarious responses by the followers of the page. "One of our guests this morning, after getting their beauty sheep!" One person wrote. "Excuse me, 'ewe' can't get through that door without a swipe card, we take the security of our guests very seriously - it's no good trying to 'ram it'!!" wrote another.

"Not only do we provide the comfiest beds to help you to sleep, we also provide the sheep for you to count too!" One user joked.

Linda Pritchard, hotel duty manager at Premier Inn Holyhead, told British television station ITV News that the hotel staff was stunned to see Sydney inside the establishment and that the animal became a local sensation after the video was shared.

"The team were rubbing their eyes when Sidney strolled in. It was a bit like a weird dream," Pritchard told the TV station. "Sidney's quite been the talk of the town and no one in any of the Premier Inns across the UK has ever heard of anything like this before,” she continued.

Staff at the hotel told the outlet that the sheep had wandered off from a nearby pasture, where it was released back after being found inside the hotel.

During the initial phase of the coronavirus lockdown, herds of sheep also made headlines for spilling into the deserted streets of Llandudno in Wales.
