Two snakes were rescued from a home in Westville, a town in South Africa on Wednesday.

Snake catcher Nick Evans arrived at the residence after receiving information that a snake was spotted on a mirror. When Evans got back to his car after capturing the reptile, the resident called him once again saying that there was another snake inside the same home.

"I went to remove a spotted Bush Snake (harmless) off of someone's mirror yesterday, in Westville. Simple enough. After grabbing it and getting in my car, I was waved down by a resident, telling me to come back, and that there was another snake!" Evans wrote in a Facebook post.

"To my amazement, there was another Bush Snake, less than a meter away, on a door handle! What a bizarre place for a Bush snake to be?! Well, they always end up in weird places," he added.

Evans went on to say that the bush snakes are being spotted quite often of late but they are harmless.

"The Bush Snakes are out in force at the moment, as per usual. Fortunately, they're nothing to worry about," he said in the Facebook post.

Meanwhile, the Facebook post with photos of the snakes has gone viral. Many people took to the comments section to speak about their encounters with the snake species.

"They are so pretty. Love seeing them in my garden. Many years ago my cat brought one into the house, Needless to say, I freaked, Next time I will Phone Nick. A friend got it out for me so no harm was done," one person wrote.

"We have many in our yard and they often venture into the house. Thank goodness I have a husband and daughter who love snakes and so they remove them without harming them. My youngest and I run a mile," another person commented.

"They are beautiful creatures... I just love them, but unfortunately, my cats don't leave them alone when spotted, and I only get the dead body. Breaks my heart. If I lucky enough to see it first, I catch it and set free at a place far from my house," another user wrote.
