According to the Wall Street Journal's publisher, Dow Jones & Co., computer systems containing the paper's news graphics were hacked by outside parties.

To prevent cyber attacks, the systems have been taken offline, Reuters reported. Meanwhile, Wall Street Journal officials have not discovered any damage to the graphics, according to the newspaper, which cited individuals at the newspaper who are familiar with the situation.

Reuters reported that a hacker with the Twitter handle w0rm allegedly posted tweets and screenshots that claimed the hacking of the website and offered the selling of user information and credentials necessary to control the server.
