During The Spice Girls' final concert at Wembley Stadium in London last month, Mel B, also known as Scary Spice, made the announcement that the group would be taking their Spice World tour beyond the confines of the current string of shows. However, Geri Horner, Ginger Spice, has indicated that those plans don't quite coincide with her wishes, according to The Sun.

"The other girls all want to take their Spice World show internationally," said an insider, adding, "Geri loved the tour but it was very hard going on her and she really feels like three nights at Wembley Stadium is the perfect high to end on."

The source went on to explain that Geri doesn't want to continue to be away from her children for long stretches of time and feels as though it "might not be worthwhile."

When discussing the upcoming Australian tour, Mel B said, "So I announced it on stage, yes, without everybody else signing off 100 percent."

If Ginger is the reason the tour comes to an end, it would not be the first instance where she was a determining factor in the band's trajectory. In 1998, Geri shocked fans by quitting the group at the height of their popularity, which prompted the remaining four to release a third and final album without her.

As of now, the upcoming tour dates are not cemented, so fans in Australia and beyond will just have to wait to see how this all turns out. One thing that has been confirmed, however, is that a new movie featuring the girl group is on the way, which will also include Victoria Beckham, Posh Spice.
