“Star Wars,” in collaboration with Mattel, is reportedly releasing four new high fashion Barbie dolls for fans.

To celebrate May the Fourth, the “Star Wars” franchise has partnered with Mattel to create four new additions to its Barbie collection.

The recently developed Barbie doll line will be launching much publicized characters from the film franchise namely the Jakku scavenger Rey, C-3PO, legendary Wookie warrior and Han Solo’s co-pilot Chewbacca and space marine of the Galactic Empire, the stormtrooper.

Although each newly curated doll is a bonus inclusion for every fans’ collection, the dolls are quite pricey. Sold for a stiff retail price of $100, the collector doll is packaged according to each character’s distinctively unique get-up.

1. Rey

For Rey’s character, the doll takes inspiration from her look in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” donning a crystal pleated chiffon gown with flawless seams that fall all the way to the floor. The dress is clasped by a brown leatherette belt taut to the doll’s waist and compliments the chocolate-covered ombre knee-high boots that can also double as leggings.

2. Chewbacca

The faux fur coat on the Chewbacca doll was inspired from the iconic character’s hairy appearance. The Chewbacca doll’s ensemble is a strapless dress matched with a fleecy skirt. The bodice is also banded with patent detailing and boasts vinyl features that make up its main look. And to further emphasize Chewie’s character, the dress is veiled with a large faux fur coat coordinated with a furry headband as well as knee-high boots. Chewbacca doll also sports a fuzzy handbag inspired from the movie character’s satchel and bandolier. The Chewbacca doll is only available on Barbie.com.

3. C-3PO

The famous droid character built by Jedi Anakin Skywalker in the movie is represented through a futuristic golden ensemble on the Barbie doll. The C3PO-inspired doll is clothed in a minidress that embodies the movie character’s armor and is replete with golden sequins. The sheer midsection is accentuated by the dress’ glinting belt that closely resembles C-3PO’s power coupler outlet. Golden hues are also apparent in the doll’s kinked hairstyle and is also completed with a C-3PO-themed hair accessory. If not concealed by the doll’s gold goggles, the C-3PO doll’s eyes are also lined with glittery golden eyeshadow.

4. Stormtrooper

The elite shock troops better known as stormtroopers in the “Star Wars” franchise are enlivened by the definitive look of the Barbie doll reflecting it. The stormtrooper doll’s look features a glistening white outfit over a black patent-leather styled bodysuit that is suited with green-colored ultramodern glasses. The doll’s bob cut hairstyle is also shaped as a stormtrooper’s helmet. The fierce stormtrooper aura is apparent in the doll’s heavy eyeliner matched with a light periwinkle eyeshadow that compliments the hair’s purple and blue highlights.

The new “Star Wars” toy debut is the second wave in the film franchise’s series of collector dolls. They were also designed by Mattel’s longtime artist and senior director Robert Best, Insider reported.
