When Stephen Miller, White House senior advisor for policy, appeared for an interview on CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday to discuss immigration and border security, people on social media chose to focus on his hairline more than his words.

This was because Miller’s bald spot on his head suddenly seemed to have sprouted hair. On a closer look, it appeared like Miller's bald spot had been filled with a spray-on color or a badly placed toupee.

Among the first people to criticize Miller’s hairline was adult film star Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti.

“I'm going to leave this right here and not comment, with one exception. @StephenMillerAL - just let it go already. Of all the cover-up options, spray-on is THE WORST. Even worse than utilizing Michael Cohen. #BaldIsBeautiful,” he wrote.

Comedian and actor Kumail Nanjiani also mocked Miller:

Here are a few other reactions from people on social media:

This was not the first time that Avenatti attacked Miller on social media. In June, he tweeted: "Stephen Miller: Congrats, the separation policy that you sold to your boss Mr. Trump will result in images that will crater you both. We will ensure you will never escape them. In your fascist zeal, you forgot that mothers are mothers first, regardless of their politics.”

The tweet criticized the senior adviser for shaping the hardliner immigration policy that was used to separate parents of illegal immigrants from their children born in the United States.

Despite being criticized for his anti-immigration stance, Miller has refused to budge from his hardline policies. That is why, when he was asked on “Face the Nation” whether President Donald Trump was planning on shutting down the government if his request of $5 billion to build the border wall was not met, Miller defended the POTUS.

“If it comes to it, absolutely. This is a very fundamental issue,” he said. "At stake is the question of whether or not the United States remains a sovereign country.”

Last week, first lady Melania Trump became the subject of mockery on Twitter when she appeared to be blonder than usual in an interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity on board the USS George H.W. Bush aircraft carrier. While some Twitter users said she looked a lot older than she actually was due to her new look, others opined that she had opted for a Stormy Daniels-look.

Although Trump did not directly address the mockery after the interview, she did refer to her thick skin and capability to take criticisms during the show.

“I do what I think is right. I know I will get the criticism – from the public or from the media – but I will do what is right and what I feel is right for the country and for the people. That’s why I say I want to stay true to myself and listen to myself and what to do and what is right, what is wrong and live a meaningful life every day,” she said.
