The official website released spoiler stills and synopsis for "Sword Art Online: Alicization War Of Underworld" Part 2, Episode 23 teasing that Alice will go missing.

The new episode opens from where episode 22 concludes. Kirito gets a call from Rinko informing him that Alice has disappeared.

Impatient Kirito tries to head to Rath’s Roppongo branch. When he is ready to head out, the intercom men are at the entrance of his building rings. As he opens his door going out, he finds the delivery man with a large cardboard box.

In "Sword Art Online: Alicization War Of Underworld" Part 2, Episode 23, Kirito receives the package from Marine Resources Exploration Resource Organization. He has felt something’s weird about the handwriting of the sender. It remains to be seen if the package has anything to do with Alice's disappearance.

Episode 22 flashbacks

In the last episode, Rinko introduces Alice during a press conference. The media is skeptical about the research and Alice. However, Rinko and Alice try their best to convince the reporters that the program is beneficial for humankind.

Elsewhere, Higa and Kikuoka observe Kirito and Asuna as they remain in the comatose state. Kikuoka tells Higa he faked his death after the Ocean Turtle fiasco. Toward the end of the episode, Kirito remembers the days he spent with Eugeo as he returns to his apartment.
