Teachers Appreciation Week is celebrated to recognize, honor, and thank the educators across the country as they continue to make a difference in the lives of the youth. It’s celebrated in the first week of May every year in the U.S. This year, it is observed from May 4 to 8. Teachers play a vital role in the development of children and help build the foundations that shape us as adults.

Despite the hard times that we’re in due to the coronavirus, teachers still continue to work and fulfill their duties. Students could make use of this opportunity to appreciate teachers for their hard work and dedication by thanking them.
