In a case of animal cruelty in Indonesia, two teens filmed themselves feeding alcohol to a kitten.

In the disturbing video posted on Facebook on Monday, one teen can be seen holding the kitten and opening its mouth. Another teen then pours alcohol into the feline’s mouth. The animal manages to jump but stumbles while escaping. At one point the kitten falls and is unable to get up. Throughout, the teens can be heard laughing.

The 30 seconds video has since gone viral on all social media platform, causing outrage among the netizens. Several people called the act shameful and asked authorities to take note of it and take action against those involved.

“Damn. That’s just pure animal cruelty. I feel so sorry for the cat and I hope these a------- got caught. I think there’s a law in Indo against animal abuse,” one Reddit user wrote.

The incident comes less than a month after a video of a man eating a cat went viral on social media. In the video, the unidentified was seen eating the cat while walking in a crowded market in Indonesia’s capital Jakarta. The man then shouts at the bystanders filming the incident and threatens to “finish” them too. Though the cat seemed to be already dead, some netizens said it was alive when the man ate it. A police investigation was launched.

“We want to find him first and ask him why he ate that cat. We don’t know why he ate the cat, whether it’s because he’s mentally challenged or not. But we have not been able to find the man everywhere we looked,” police said in a statement at the time.
