Visitors to a Ukraine zoo will now have double the opportunity to get bitten by a snake, as an albino two-headed garter snake has taken up residence. The three-year old snake, originally from Switzerland, is the only in the world of its kind: There is at least one other known two-headed snake, but Mince as he is called is the only living one without pigmentation.

Mince's second head isn't just for show: Each head has its own brain.

In 2000, a two-headed snake named We earned a bid of $150,000 on eBay. We eventually made its way to the World Aquarium in St. Louis. Two-headed snakes normally do not have a long life expectancy, ensuring the rarity of those who do survive. We lived a remarkable 8 years before it died this year.
