Loki (Tom Hiddleston) did not fare well when he first met the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), so it does not come as any surprise that their second meeting would send the god of mischief fleeing to another planet.

It was actually Thor (Chris Hemsworth) who came face to face with the Hulk in the intergalactic gladiator arena. Thor gave a resounding “Yes!” when he saw his fellow Avenger, but Loki had a completely different reaction.

“Loki, look who it is!” Thor told his half brother as he pointed towards the Hulk, to which Loki replied, “I have to get off this planet!”

Earlier, Hiddleston told the Times of India that playing Loki continuously surprises him. And because Loki has become such a well-loved villain, Hiddleston admitted that he feels pressured to do the role justice.

“I feel a huge responsibility to deliver the character people know, even though it’s been four years since I last played him, and also to try to take him in new directions,” he explained.

However, playing Loki has its challenges. Hiddleston said the villain is so unpredictable - every time he comes close to achieving what he wants, he does a 360-degree turn. “I think that is the thing that keeps him interesting in a way. He’s cunning and transformative and changeable, and will do everything he can to survive. He’s the trickster. He’s the God of mischief,” he explained.

Hiddleston also reflected on Loki’s personality in “Thor: Ragnarok” with Slash Film. The actor suggested that fans should not be so quick to judge him, because he is bound to change at any minute.

“I think he’s a mercurial spirit, and the minute you try to define him, he changes shape. He is the shape shifter in the pantheon, although events in Ragnarok try and inspire to change him forever, I think. But they change for everyone. The goddess of death shows up, and the stakes are high for everybody, so Loki, perhaps more than ever, is challenged to define himself in the face of that threat,” he said.

“Thor: Ragnarok,” which is directed by Taika Waititi, will be released on Nov. 3.
