Marvel has introduced a lot of great female heroines in its recent movies, and one of them is Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) from “Thor: Ragnarok.”

Thompson made such a splash as the female warrior that several other Marvel stars thought it would be great to have an all-girls team.

“Recently, I marched up with a couple of other women that work in Marvel and we went to Kevin [Feige], ‘What about a movie with some female super heroes?’” she told io9. “Like all of them? There’s a precedent for it in the comics, right? With teams like Lady Liberators?”

The Lady Liberators are an all-female superhero team that was formed by the Enchantress, according to Digital Spy. It consists of the Wasp, Black Widow and Scarlet Witch. Granted, it does not include Valkyrie, but the Marvel studio could still whip up its magic and create a good storyline for Thompson’s heroine.

Personally, Feige said it is an idea worth considering. “It was a pretty amazing moment to be somewhere and have your shoulder get tapped and turn around [and see that] every female hero we have is standing there going, ‘How about it?’” Feige said. “And I said, ‘Yes.’”

Meanwhile, Cate Blanchett played Marvel’s first female villain Hela in “Thor: Ragnarok,” and she did such a fantastic job that her co-stars such as Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo have nothing but praises for her.

When Fandango asked Blanchett about the “pressure” involved in playing a female baddie, Blanchett dismissed it as “ridiculous.” “I mean, there’s a huge female fan base and having a daughter myself, you know, you want them to be able to identify with the bad-ass end of the spectrum as well as the heroes…so I didn’t feel pressure, I was super excited,” she said.

Blanchett even said that “playing the Goddess of Death has been really interesting” since she knew nothing about the villain’s backstory. She even gave her input in shaping up the villain, which director Taika Waititi accepted and incorporated in the film.

“Thor: Ragnarok” will be released on Nov. 3.
