An Ohio nightclub was in violation of COVID-19 protocols after hosting an indoor Trey Songz concert where 500 patrons were in attendance.

Soon after the event, the venue, called Aftermath, was served a citation for improper conduct and disorderly activities. Videos posted to social media show patrons failing to social distance and sharing alcoholic beverages. Patrons were also seen not wearing masks, and barriers for social distancing were not set in place prior to the concert.

“Patrons were congregated throughout the premises with no attempts to maintain social distancing and no physical barriers in place,” authorities said, as reported by the New York Post.

“Agents observed patrons standing, walking freely, and sharing alcoholic beverages directly from the same bottle as they were passed between groups.”

Investigators also argued that the venue adhered to no COVID protocols and compared the event to a regular pre-pandemic concert.

“Basically, it was just a concert environment,” Eric Wolf, the Ohio Investigative Unit enforcement commander, told NBC News affiliate WCMH. “If you had taken that event and put it in 2019, it would have been pretty much the same concert, same event that was taking place last night.”

The venue previously advertised the concert in an Instagram post but failed to mention if there was a capacity limit.

“This Saturday, December 5th, Trey Songz Will be at the ALL NEW AFTERMATH!!! Doors open at 6 pm,” the Instagram post read.

Now it's up to the Ohio Liquor Control Commission to determine the correct punishment for the establishment. Fines and suspensions are all on the table when discussing a potential punishment.

As for Songz, many took to social media to blast the artist’s lack of responsibility.

Most notably, Songz contracted the virus previously in October and urged fans to social distance and wear a mask.
