True Blood
Will Jason fall victim to Violet in episode eight of season six of “True Blood.” HBO/True Blood

“True Blood” fans will be learning a little bit more about tough prison inmate Violet in “Dead Meat,” episode eight of season six of the HBO television series. Unfortunately, the information may come at the expense of Jason’s life.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!

In episode seven, “In The Evening,” viewers watched as Sarah Newlin began taking over for Gov. Burrell, and one of her first orders of business was putting Jason in his place. Using her new power, Jason’s scorned lover had the guards cut him and then throw him into the female general population cell -- and the ladies inside thought dinner was served!

Although Tara immediately jumped in to defend him, alpha vampire Violet will ultimately get control of their breathing blood bag. “I’m going to feed off of you as I see fit and as often as I like,” Violet told Jason in the trailer for episode eight. Well, a special clip of “Dead Meat” gives a little bit more insight into how their relationship is going to work inside the prison walls.

“So what is it you did to get yourself thrown in here?” Violet asks Jason. “Oh, you know, the usual,” Jason answers. “Don’t bulls--t me Jason,” she counters. “This is prison, what did you do?”

But what Violet doesn’t understand is that this is “the usual” for Jason. Sleeping with the ladies always seems to get him into some sort of trouble -- and this time it resulted in imprisonment at a vampire camp.

“I did the governor’s girlfriend,” he confesses to Violet, making her laugh. “How the f--k did you pull that off?” she asks, impressed. “We have a history,” he tells her. “Does the governor know?” Violet questions. “I don’t think so,” Jason answers -- and both of them don’t know that it will stay that way since Bill beheaded him!

“Go ahead,” Violet tells him. “What?” Jason says, confused. “This may work out for us after all,” she continues. Not sure what she means, Jason thanks her for “getting his back before,” but Violet makes sure it’s clear that she’s not done with him.

“What I said before about you being mine, I meant it,” she says, menacingly. “I don’t know how long I’m going to be here. I don’t know if I’m going to live or die. But, as long as I am alive, Jason, I’m going to feed off you as I see fit and as often as I like.”

New episodes of “True Blood” are shown on HBO Sundays at 9 p.m. EDT. Episode eight, “Dead Meat,” will premiere this Sunday. What do you think Violet has in store for Jason? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
