Truth About Lauren Sanchez Cutting Ties With Brother After Leaked Texts

Lauren Sanchez has cut ties with her brother Michael Sanchez after he allegedly leaked information about her affair with Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, The Washington Post reported.

Michael, who was also Lauren’s publicist and manager, was revealed by the Enquirer as the person the provided information to the news outlet about the couple, including text messages between the two.

He also wrote to the Bezos-owned newspaper, The Washington Post, requesting to be the sole point of contact for any news that was Lauren related. In an email, he wrote, “I’m reaching out to you, off-the-record. I will be your single point-of-contact for anything Lauren-related. I’d appreciate it if we can keep open (one) line of communication."

The Washington Post published the communications with Michael, which caused him to speak out again to the news outlet, saying, “It’s pretty simple: Jeff Bezos had an extramarital affair, lied about it in his tone-deaf ‘divorce’ tweet and has engaged in a scorched-earth campaign to cover up responsibility for the demise of two families and the failure to protect the privacy and technology of the man practically owns the cloud, culminating in a Washington Post hit piece written by Sarah Ellison, the writer I handpicked to tell the whole truth.”

Hitting back, Michael leaked her texts from Bezos, an allegation he denies, according to the Daily Mail. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Michael addressed the texts, saying that Bezos had sent 20 lewd photos to his sister. He also suggested that the two were discussing marriage.

Michael does admit to working with the Enquirer but denies being the source of the leaks, the Daily Mail reported. He claims that both he and Bezos were trying to buy the story from the news outlet at the time.

Michael claims to be protecting Lauren, telling the Daily Mail, “Until I go under oath, what I can tell you now is that ever since April 20, when I met Jeff, my only goal has been to protect Jeff and Lauren.”

“It’s a legendary romance that will blow your mind as to just how in love they are,” he added.
