As Americans wait to learn who will be the next president, jokes are apparently off the table.

Fans of ABC's "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" became upset on Wednesday when franchise alum Tyler Cameron appeared to make fun of the nail-biting election.

In a now-deleted tweet, Tyler appeared to jokingly compare the election to an episode of “The Bachelor.” The reality star’s post suggested that the producers of the reality dating series were in “some way” involved in the drama surrounding the election.

“Making bachelor related comments while people are genuinely afraid of the outcome of the election just doesn’t sit right with me. Reading the room is important,” one person wrote.

Another fan added, “Bro not the right call right now, tell everyone to remind their friends and family that the election is not over until all votes are counted and every American has exercised their right to vote.”

Meanwhile, one user managed to find humor in the comment and applauded Tyler for trying to ease the anxiety of others.

“God bless the USA. What a blessing to live in a country where we have the freedom to vote. With the stress of the last few months, weeks days..night, thank you for a fun and quirky reminder that all of life situations can relate to all things BN [Bachelor Nation]. Damn those producers!” the fan wrote.

Tyler has since deleted the tweet and with his most recent post focused on his trip to Utah.

The 27-year-old is best known for his 2019 appearance on Hannah Brown's season of "The Bachelorette." He was the runner-up on her installment. The two later rekindled their romance before he went on to date model Gigi Hadid.

Tyler, who is a general contractor, also starred as the host of Quibi's "Barkitecture."
