The strike of 45,000 Verizon landline employees continued onto its ninth day on Monday, as groups across the country picketed in front of Verizon stores. IBTimes was on the scene to capture a group of picketing Verizon workers in Lower Manhattan.

The group numbered about 10 striking people on the picket line, while others were scattered around the general area. The union was limited to only 10 people on the picket line after Verizon successfully filed injunctions against the Communication Workers of America and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in New York.

Verizon was also able to successfully file injunctions in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, though the number varies state by state for how many people are allowed to picket.
