Victoria and David Beckham have recently been surrounded with divorce and infidelity rumors, and now a new report claims that there is "trouble in paradise" for the couple. As previous reports by New Idea magazine have been debunked, the latest claim of a troubled marriage for the two stars cannot be confirmed.

According to the magazine, Victoria and David fuelled split rumors after arriving at The Fashion Show Awards in London last week, "looking far from loved up." The magazine based its claim on some photos, which it shared on its website, showing a serious look on Victoria's face. However, the photos do not prove that Victoria and David are having marriage troubles.

The magazine also claimed that Victoria was unhappy after her husband recently spent a night out in London with supermodel Helena Christensen.

Citing another photo in which Victoria wore a black gown, the magazine claimed that the singer "appeared sombre and disconnected from her husband." However, it also added that at one point she reached out to hold David's hand.

Body language expert Louise Mahler told the magazine that the moment shows that there is still hope between the pair.

“She is reaching out to touch him. It’s quite intimate in the way her fingers are just holding the side of his hand and he is looking into her eyes. All is not lost, is what this says to me,” Mahler said.

These claims however cannot be independently verified by International Business Times due to uncredible sources.

Earlier this month, OK! magazine cited a few comments made by the celebrity couple in the recent past and concluded that the duo were headed for a $1.2 billion divorce. The magazine claimed that the power couple was “preparing to divvy up their $1.2 billion empire” as they head their separate ways.

“I think if you know each other well, if you know you’ve got great friends and great family behind you, the thing we have to do is protect our children and we are very proud of the family. To be married for the amount of time that we have, it’s always hard work, everybody knows that, but you make it work. You make difficult situations like travelling away, being away from each other, you make it work,” David said during an interview in October.

However, OK! magazine interpreted the former British soccer player’s comments in a negative tone.

An unreliable source was cited by OK! magazine who claimed that Victoria was “in tears over David’s harsh words,” and the comments made her lose the “will to save her crumbling marriage.”

The tabloid also hinted at "David's infidelity” as reason for their alleged broken marriage. But, none of these claims are true.
