Late night talk show hosts had a wide range of topics to spoof in their monologues on Wednesday, ranging from battles over the debt ceiling, President Joe Biden's ongoing documents scandal, and Republican firebrands George Santos and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

"The Late Late Show with James Corden" locked in on the looming federal deficit showdown between Democrats and the GOP over funding the government.

"Republicans are insisting on massive spending cuts while the president is refusing to budge," Corden said. "Mostly because he is in his comfiest chair and 'Wheel of Fortune' is on."

"Late Night Starring Jimmy Fallon" focused on a new poll showing Biden's poll numbers have remained unchanged despite the investigation into his handling of classified documents at his Delaware home.

"A new poll showed that President Biden's approval rating has not been affected by the classified documents scandal," Fallon said. "To that Biden said 'In that case, there's another 100 documents stashed in the pool house.'"

"The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" teed off on Rep. George Santos (R-N.Y.) as more revelations come out about his life as a con man. CNN's Anderson Cooper recently interviewed Santos' former roommate about the congressman's sordid past.

"Can you imagine being roommates with George Santos?" Colbert asked, breaking into his best Santos impersonation. "Sorry Gregory, I don't have my share of the rent yet. I had to pay for my mom's third funeral. It just won't take."

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" latched on to the roommate's claims that Santos used a fake charity GoFundMe account to raise money for sick animals, taking $3,000 from a disabled veteran's service dog surgery.

"He's been accused of stealing from a dog?" Kimmel quipped. "He's literally a Scooby-Doo villian at this point."

"Late Night with Seth Meyers" took aim at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's (R-Ga.) appointment to the House Committee on Homeland Security while showing an image from the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

"Well, she does seem to know about attacks before they happen," Meyers said.
