The long awaited fair will finally begin in “The Walking Dead” Season 9, episode 15. While the Kingdom will be busy signing deals with other communities, they will also have to sign a deal with the Whisperers that may come with a huge price attached.

King Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and his people have been planning the fair for a long time now, and it will finally happen in the next episode. A preview video shows the king signing a deal with some of the other communities that will attend the fair.

The promo video also shows Daryl (Norman Reedus) taking a team out into the woods to deal with the Whisperers. Carol (Melissa McBride) and Michonne (Danai Guria) will also join this team.

The encounter with the Whisperers will not go exactly as planned, as Carol, Michonne and the others will be surrounded in the woods. Beta (Ryan Hurts) will return, and he appears to be instrumental in making sure his people reach a deal with the heroes.

What deal will the heroes reach with the Whisperers? Whatever it is, it may come with a heavy price.

There are just two more episodes left in “The Walking Dead” Season 9. It remains to be seen if any one of the heroes will lose their life in episode 15. Daryl appears to be in danger, with Alpha (Samantha Morton) pointing a gun at him and leading him out somewhere.

The next episode is also a good time to introduce the next villain faction on the show. A sneak peek scene from episode 15 shows the Highwaymen finding a ransacked wagon in the woods. It remains to be seen if the Whisperers did this or if there is another group out there that is yet to reveal itself.

With the “The Walking Dead” Season 9 nearing the end, the role of Beta is expected to increase. The character played an important role in the comics, which is the source material for the show. Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who has remained relatively low key on the show so far this year, is also expected to play an important role in the upcoming war between the Whisperers and the heroes.

“The Walking Dead” Season 9, episode 15, titled “The Calm Before,” will air on March 24 at 9 p.m. EST.
