Princess Diana’s brother reportedly said something that made the royal family ban him from events.

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released official photos for their son Archie’s christening, Princess Diana’s sisters were present and many noticed that her brother, Charles Spencer, was missing. According to a royal expert, it could be due to Spencer’s “deeply impertinent” speech at Princess Diana’s funeral over two decades ago.

Spencer’s funeral speech in 1997 was interpreted as an open criticism to the royal family. The 9th Earl Spencer ruffled royal feathers in his statement that was deemed controversial.

“Someone with a natural nobility who was classless and who proved in the last year that she needed no royal title to continue to generate her particular brand of magic,” Spencer said about his sister, Princess Diana, Express reported.

“I pledge that we, your blood family, will do all we can to continue the imaginative and loving way in which you were steering these two exceptional young men so that their souls are not simply immersed by duty and tradition, but can sing openly as you planned.”

According to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams it remains unknown if Spencer attended the event or missed it simply because he was not at the photos. But he was probably there and was just excluded in the official portraits.

“Even if it suited the moment Charles’s speech at Diana’s Funeral was both unforgettable oratory and deeply impertinent,” Fitzwilliams said.

“The royal family will obviously remember it vividly and to have included him in the only family christening photo released would have been highly controversial.”

In related news, earlier this week, Camilla Parker Bowles celebrated her 72nd birthday. Some of the royal fans are still not over Princess Diana as they called the Duchess of Cornwall a “homewrecker ” on her birthday. Many blamed Camilla for Princess Diana’s suffering and pain when she was still alive.

In a past interview, Prince Harry spoke about Camilla as a stepmother. According to the Duke of Sussex, Camilla is not a wicked stepmother. He also called the people to not be sorry about him and Prince William but to Camilla.

Prince Harry described Camilla as a “wonderful woman” and revealed that he and Prince William are close to their stepmom. The father of one also said that they love Camilla to bits.
