Camilla Parker Bowles received hurtful remarks on her birthday.

On Wednesday, the Duchess of Cornwall celebrated her 72nd birthday. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a photo of Camilla to pay tribute to her on her special day on Twitter.

Prince William and Middleton’s fans were quick to comment in the post. Some were happy for Camilla, but many were upset because they still blamed her for Princess Diana’s pain when the Princess of Wales was still alive.

“Home wrecker,” one follower wrote in the comment section.

“Because of her Diana is not here ugh I can’t stand this woman. She is the cause of all Diana’s pain and suffering,” another user added.

Many netizens defended Camilla by encouraging others to forgive. Some also left warm wishes for the duchess in the post.

Many were not happy with Prince Charles and Camilla because in Princess Diana’s Panorama interview she hinted that they were having an affair while the future king was still married to her.

Princess Diana said that “there were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded,” implying about Prince Charles and Camilla’s relationship.

According to royal experts, Prince Charles’ true love is Camilla. However, they didn’t wed because the family disapproved of her due to her past as she had dated before Prince Charles and the royal family was keen on giving the heir apparent a virgin wife.

Princess Diana also suspected that the royal family only approved of her for Prince Charles because she had no “background,” referring to her lack of sexual experience at the time. According to the People’s Princess, she was too young to have that background.

Prince Charles and Princess Diana had a grand wedding but their marriage was unhappy. Years after Princess Diana’s death, Prince Charles slowly publicized his romance with Camilla and they eventually got married.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall didn’t have a grand wedding, but many believed that they have a happy marriage. The netizens are convinced that Prince Charles is faithful to Camilla.
