Everyone is coping with the COVID-19 pandemic in their own way, including Lindsay Lohan. She recently dropped a bit of sage wisdom about her own thoughts on the issue, saying she believes the pandemic is “God’s way of telling us to be less careless to our universe and each other.”

“We need to unite more, and be more caring to one another. Appreciate the simple things in life. Live more in gratitude,” she told Page Six.

Lohan’s statement comes shortly after the release of her newest single, “Back to Me” on April 3, according to Rolling Stone. The song marks her return to music and details the struggles Lohan has gone through in her life, but how throughout it all she has managed to finally return to her true self.

“I'ma do it right and let it go / Everything I can't control / Should've done it long ago,” she sings in the song.

Lohan has said music “is a way of personal expression and a way to connect with my fans on a different level. I love to dance, and I love listening to music — it felt like the right time.”

“Back to Me” will be part of her upcoming third album which does not have a release date. The project is currently on hold because of COVID-19, but Lohan assures fans that music videos to accompany the album will be released in the future.

The 33-year-old has released two other albums in her lifelong career as first a child actor turned pop star. Her debut album, “Speak” was released in 2004 followed by “A Little More Personal (Raw)” in 2005. With her new album, Lohan wanted to give fans a bit more insight into what she was feeling and experiencing in her early 20s.

“It has a lot of memories from my life in California, and a remembrance of things I saw and felt in my life when I was in my early 20s,” she said. “The other tracks on the album are going to be uplifting and fun. The goal for me is to have a fun album that we can dance to.”
