“Diary of a Future President” is the latest Disney+ original series to debut, and after the first episode, viewers are likely wondering when they’ll get their hands on episode 2. Luckily, IBT has release dates confirmed for the first five episodes.

“Diary of a Future President” episode 2 will debut on Friday, Jan. 24. The episode will show Elena (Tess Romero) reacting to the news of her mom Gabi (Selenis Leyva) dating Sam (Michael Weaver) while Bobby (Charlie Bushnell) gets competitive.

“After learning Gabi has a new boyfriend, Elena worries about maintaining her role in the family,” the episode 2 synopsis teases. “Bobby meets his match on the tennis court, and Sam helps Gabi deal with the loss of her favorite sandwich when it’s abruptly taken off the lunch menu.”

Fans will have to wait a whole week to find out what happens. Yes, Disney+ is maintaining their weekly release schedule for this series, just as they did for “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” and “The Mandalorian.” Fans will get new episodes every Friday. Thus far, Disney+ has confirmed these release dates for “Diary of a Future President”:

  • Episode 101, titled “Hello World,” airs Friday, Jan. 17
  • Episode 102, titled “The New Deal,” airs Friday, Jan. 24
  • Episode 103, titled “Disaster Relief,” airs Friday, Jan. 31
  • Episode 104, titled “The National Mall,” airs Friday, Feb. 7
  • Episode 105, titled “Whistleblower,” airs Friday, Feb. 14

Assuming they don’t take any weeks off, the season finale will air March 20. At that point, all 10 episodes will be available to binge-watch.

The series follows the story of Elena Cañero-Reed, the future President of the United States (Gina Rodriguez). Right now, however, she has to get through middle school. The half-hour series is a Disney+ original and only available to those with a subscription.
