Fans have been waiting over a year to get another fix of Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” but the wait is now almost over. Only one day stands between viewers and new episodes of the hit series, as it’s entire Season 2 is set to hit the streaming service on Friday.

That’s right, all of the characters are back for round two, including, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Steven (Joe Keery), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Will (Noah Schnapp), Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Chief Hopper (David Harbour).

Along with more of the original crew, there will also be new characters joining the mix, like Billy (Dacre Montgomery) and Max (Sadie Sink). Time will only tell what their part in the new season will be, but, luckily, it’s a very short amount of time until that happens.

The nine-episode second season will once again focus on the town of Hawkins, Indiana, and those who inhabit it, but instead of 1983, it’s now 1984 and instead of the Demogorgon, the series has moved on to something supposedly much worse in the new season.

Want to be part of the massive, collective Season 2 binge that will likely be happening in households all over on Friday, but haven’t seen Season 1 yet? No worries, there’s plenty of time to catch up. If you start now, that is. The first season only had eight episodes, which means that there are more than enough hours to watch it all before the new season drops.

Once you’re all caught up, make sure you’re ready to watch as soon as the episodes are released. That might mean making a large pot of coffee to stay awake, setting an alarm for very early in the morning, or both, as Season 2 comes out right at midnight on Friday for those in PDT, while viewers in EDT won’t get the new season until 3 a.m.

Now that you know when you can see the new “Stranger Things” episodes, it’s best to make sure you’re actually capable of accessing the show. To do that, just make sure that your Netflix account is current and you’re able to properly log in and view shows.

If you don’t yet subscribe to the streaming platform, there’s still time to create an account before Friday. Simply head to the Netflix website and follow the directions in the center of the screen to sign up for a subscription plan, which starts at $7.99 per month.

Now all that’s left is to get your last-minute predictions in on what you think will happen in the new season, and then get your pajamas and snacks ready for a day/night of binge-watching.
