Meghan Markle is an untraditional royal bride in many ways, including her status as a divorcee. Before she was the Duchess of Sussex, she was married to Trevor Engelson, who also remarried this year.

Engelson, a Hollywood producer, married Tracey Kurland, a nutritionist, in October, according to the Daily Mail. The couple reportedly started dating in November 2017 (the same month Meghan and Prince Harry announced their engagement). While Engelson married Markle in a beach ceremony in Jamaica, his second wedding was a little less exotic, simply taking place at a mansion in California.

Professionally, Engelson is also keeping busy. While his reported TV show pitch about a guy whose ex-wife remarries a royal while they share custody of their kids never worked out, he has other TV programs and movies.

The latest was the “Heathers” reboot, which was burned off by Paramount Network in a week last month and ended up having an episode completely cut because it was too controversial.

His other show, “Snowfall,” is more successful. Recently renewed for a third season, the FX drama follows the rise of the crack cocaine epidemic in 1980s Los Angeles.

Engelson is also keeping busy producing films. “After Party,” a Netflix comedy about a rapper going viral, premiered in August. He is also announced to work on a comedy called “Dr. Sensitive” and a thriller titled “13 Minutes.”

The producer does not publicly speak about his ex-wife.
