Whitney Houston appeared on stage in Central Park on Tuesday on Good morning America after nearly a decade of not singing.

Houston, Grammy award winner and renowned recording artist, performed in free concert to promote her new album titled I look to you. Unfortunately her performance had to be cut short after apparently losing her voice, New York Daily News reports.

The diva, dressed in a form-fitted brown dress, got through only three songs in her new album before apologizing to the crowed of approximately 5,000.

A repeat of the performance can be viewed online or on TV on Good Morning America.
