It’s never too late to start chasing your dreams — just ask Dennis Graham.

The Tennessee native and father of well-known rapper Drake is launching his R&B career at more than 60 years of age. Graham — who has become something of a celebrity on Instagram — reportedly reached out to Jamie Lovine, a producer and CRO at Meltdown Comics who previously worked with his son, about making music together. According to TMZ, Lovine was happy to help and got straight to work on Graham’s forthcoming R&B album.

The publication was able to obtain clips from an upcoming music video starring the newcomer, in which he’s shown sporting OVO chains while singing a melodic song about a woman he’s developed an “obsession” for. The video stars an unknown blonde music video vixen. Sources say the song and accompanying music video will be released later this month while Graham and Lovine continue working on a full album.

Drake, 29, is said to be supporting his father’s dreams of becoming a musician, though he has not publicly addressed it. Graham shared a still from his video on Instagram, thanking all who were involved. He did not, however, mention his son.

While Graham works on building his career from the ground up, Drake is focusing on other pursuits. During a recent concert at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, the “One Dance” rapper opened up about his “love for Rihanna,” according to reports from Page Six. Drake’s comments delighted concert-goers who have been shipping the pair for years. Relationship rumors continue to swirl about he and the “Work” singer, most recently sparking back up after fans noticed undeniable chemistry between the duo during a performance together.

Drake and Rihanna have not confirmed the status of their relationship, but rumor has it they’re giving love another shot. On Aug. 3, E! Online reported that the Toronto native is willing to call Rihanna his girlfriend, but she has qualms. Sources close to the alleged couple said that Drake and the soulful songstress both have strong feelings for one another, but she is not ready to jump into anything at this time.

“Drake would make her his girlfriend in a second if he could,” one source told E! “It’s more Rihanna, though. They both care about each other and are having a good time spending time with each other. Drake has expressed to Rihanna that he only wants to date her and only her, but she wants to take [it] day by day this time around.”

Despite their differences on the exact status of their relationship, it has been reported that things are “progressing nicely” between Drake and Rihanna. In May, People magazine’s sources said that they have decided to fly under the radar to protect their relationship. The publication reported that they “want to do it right” this time around. As you may recall, Drake and Rihanna were said to be a couple in 2009 and have been linked several times since.
