“The 100” Season 6 is going on a short hiatus — with a major emphasis on “short.”

The CW’s post-apocalyptic drama isn’t on tonight, but fans will only have to wait one week for it to return. It comes back next Tuesday (June 11) with Season 6, episode 6, titled “Memento Mori.”

“Diyoza [Ivana Milicevic] learns more about the mysterious Children of Gabriel while Abby [Paige Turco] continues searching for a way to save Kane [Henry Ian Cusick],” the synopsis shares of what’s to come.

“Now we get our humanity back,” Clarke (Eliza Taylor) says in the trailer.

“By taking innocent lives,” Abby asks.

“We’ve done worse,” Clarke explains.

There will still be an episode of “The 100” being shown tonight during the show’s usual 9 p.m. EDT time slot, it just won’t be new. Instead, The CW’s airing a repeat showing of the Season 6 premiere, “Sanctum.”

Although the series is taking the week off from airing new episodes, creator Jason Rothenberg and his “The 100” writing team are hard at work creating new episodes. The show’s already been renewed for Season 7, and Monday was the first day of the writers’ room for it.

“A sweet first day of Season 7,” Rothenberg tweeted, alongside a photo of a bunch of cakes and cupcakes.

So, while fans have to wait for another fresh episode of “The 100,” they can rest easy knowing there are still a bunch of Season 6 episodes to come, as well as a whole other season on the way after that.

“The 100” returns with Season 6, episode 6 on The CW on Tuesday, June 11 at 9 p.m. EDT.
