Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s attempt to distance themselves from Prince William and Kate Middleton will have little effect on the amount of fame and attention their baby will receive once it’s born.

During an appearance on “The Royal Rota,” royal correspondent Roya Nikkhah claimed Meghan and Harry would never be able to give their child a normal life due to its connection to the royal family.

“We love him. He’s the most popular member of the Royal Family often in polls after the Queen, sometimes even ahead of the Queen. So I think it’s not just about the media and wanting to keep the distance,” she explained.

Although Meghan and Harry have moved from Kensington Palace to Frogmore House to get more privacy, Nikkah revealed the couple will never be able to give their baby the normal life they are trying to create.

“This baby might never even take on Royal official duties, but there is no escape from the fact that they will always be an enormous public interest. Not just a media, but a public interest in the baby. Because they are very big news and Harry is beloved by the nation.”

While Nikkah notes the couple has every right to want their baby to have a normal upbringing, she claimed they needed to remember their child has ties to the throne.

“I think you’ve got to be realistic. When you are a global mega-star like Harry is, yes, of course, you want to give your child as normal a life as possible but actually, what does that mean? That child is probably going to have a life very different to most children,” she said.

Once Meghan and Prince Harry’s baby is born, it will become seventh in line to the throne.
