Meghan Markle has reportedly shut out her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., completely from her and her son’s life. But it has also been revealed that she has gotten close to Prince Charles.

According to The Sun, the Duchess of Sussex has turned to Prince Charles for support after she had a falling out with her own father last year. Prince Harry’s wife also sees the heir to the throne as a positive influence on her son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

Thomas, on the other hand, is seen a bad influence on Markle and her son’s life that’s why the “Suits” alum has decided to completely shut her out. The former Hollywood star has also done the same thing to her half-siblings, who have spoken negatively about her to the press.

A source to Mirror that the Markles have not also been invited to attend Archie’s christening this month. Initial reports claimed that Thomas has not been giving interviews to the press because he wants to get on his daughter’s good side. But it seems that his attempts to reconcile with her didn’t work.

Multiple publications reported that only 25 people have been invited to attend the private christening of Archie. Sources have also said that the royal’s baptism will be media-free.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to keep things very private yet again did not sit well with royal fans and experts. Some of them compared the royal couple with Prince William and Kate Middleton, who has shared important milestones of their three children to the public.

For instance, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis were photographed outside St. Mary’s Hospital’s Lindo Wing just hours after they were born. The three royals were also photographed on their way to their christening and after the ceremony wrapped up.

Markle and Prince Harry, on the other hand, introduced Archie to the public two days after the Duchess of Sussex gave birth.
