They’re in the midst of a lawsuit against British tabloids for unethical practices when it came to obtaining information about them and are the subjects of a new documentary where they discuss why they are taking action and desire more privacy. However, even describing why they’ve done the things they have isn’t enough for the critics who feel Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in the wrong.

Despite Prince harry discussing how he still feels trauma when he sees the flash of a camera because of the paparazzi’s role in his mother’s death and Markle explaining how tough her transition as a wife, mother and royal has been in a new documentary, the couple is still coming under fire for the way they tried to keep their son, Archie Harrison, shielded from the public.

In an interview with Express UK, biographer Angela Levin revealed she still feels the couple’s decisions when it came to how they approached everything about Archie—which included not announcing his birth until hours after the fact and closing his Christening to the public and press—were wrong.

“I think it was very wrong they hid baby Archie away,” she said. “They didn’t let people appear at the christening, even one press representative. I think it is wrong that they don’t say who the godparents are. I think it was wrong they wouldn’t say where they were.”

She also revealed that the couple can’t have it both ways when it comes to taking taxpayer money for their extravagant lifestyles but also keep so much of their lives shrouded in secrecy.

“You think ‘what have they got to hide?’ Taxpayers pay their money so the royals can live a life of tremendous luxury, it’s not easy,” she added. “it is very difficult being a royal and their privacy is taken away from them. But it is pros and cons isn’t it? They live in castles.”

The comments come shortly after excerpts of the upcoming documentary “Harry & Meghan: An African Journey,” which chronicled the couples’ recent tour, were released. In the excerpts, Prince Harry revealed that he still feels emotional wounds that stem from his mother’s sudden death over 20 years ago, while the former actress discussed the amount of pressure and challenges she has faced due to extensive negative press coverage.

“I would say...look any woman, especially when they are pregnant, you are really vulnerable and so that was made really challenging,” she told ITV’s Tom Bradby. “And then when you have a newborn, you know? And especially as a woman its really, it’s really a lot. So you add this on top of just trying to be a new mom or trying to be a newlywed …"
