In a series of now deleted Instagram posts Wednesday, Rob Kardashian body-shamed his ex-fiancée Blac Chyna, accused her of spending his money to undergo weight loss surgery and shared explicit photos of her, which created turmoil over social media.

Instagram appeared to have suspended Kardashian’s account soon after the explicit posts were shared with the "Keeping Up With The Karadashians" star’s 9.4 million followers on the social media network. Instagram’s policy of posting photos and videos "that are appropriate for a diverse audience" under the platform’s community guidelines clearly states they do not allow nudity on Instagram except the ones that have artistic values like in paintings or sculptures.

"This includes photos, videos, and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks. It also includes some photos of female nipples, but photos of post-mastectomy scarring and women actively breastfeeding are allowed. Nudity in photos of paintings and sculptures is OK, too," the social media platform’s guidelines state.

However, after the Instagram account was shut down, Kardashian took to Twitter, reminding people they could follow his personal account on there. He then shared explicit photos of Chyna on Twitter as well, which were deleted after almost 30 minutes, according to Business Insider. Kardashian’s series of tweets were about the couple’s break up and his allegations against Chyna of having surgery to lose weight after giving birth to their daughter, Dream.

Kardashian’s Twitter account and series of tweets referring to the photos are still available online.

According to Twitter rules, the social media platform has an active "Hateful Conduct Policy" which states "Freedom of expression means little if voices are silenced because people are afraid to speak up. We do not tolerate behavior that harasses, intimidates, or uses fear to silence another person’s voice. If you see something on Twitter that violates these rules, please report it to us."

The policy also mentions not tolerating "repeated and/or non-consensual slurs, epithets, racist and sexist tropes, or other content that degrades someone."

International Business Times reached out to Twitter, which did not immediately return the request for comment on the issue.

In the now deleted photos on Instagram and Twitter, along with the 30-year-old Kardashian publicly body-shaming his ex-fiancée and sharing explicit NSFW photos, there were also videos of Chyna, showing the 29-year-old reality star having an intimate moment with another man. In one of the insulting posts, which were later deleted, Kardashian wrote: "I had my daughter out of Love but this woman left the second I paid for her body surgery," Business Insider reported.

Kardashian also shared photos of another man Chyna allegedly slept with and numerous screenshots of iPhone notes that claimed his ex-fiancée cheated on him and was doing drugs.

After Kardashian's Instagram attack, Chyna reacted to the series of posts on her Snapchat account and accused Kardashian of domestic violence, according to People magazine.

"Rob [you] did all this but [you] beat me up and try act [like] it never happen[ed]!!!!!" she wrote in a now-deleted Snapchat post. "[You] put hand on me I swear on god!!!! On my kids [I'm telling the truth,] but I'm supposed to be quiet because you're a Kardashian."

Social media users reacted to Kardashian's actions saying posting nude photos without consent could be a crime.

After the incident, Kardashian could face potential legal repercussions because of the Right of Publicity legislation, which "references the protection of the unauthorized use of one's likeness in commercial or exploitative scenarios," according to Digital Media Law Project. Kardashian shared explicit photos and videos of Chyna, which may fall under the exploitative category.

A similar incident sparked controversy June 9 when model Amber Rose posted an absolutely bottomless photo on her Instagram account in support of her third annual Slutwalk. Instagram deleted the photo within two hours as it violated the social media network’s guidelines. However, it was there on her official Twitter account.
