Cruise enthusiasts can look forward to sailing across some of the hidden harbors and secluded coves of the world this year as Windstar Cruises offers its guests a choice of diverse itineraries in 2011 and winter 2012.

The Seattle-based cruise line has announced its new Baltic, Holy Land, European, Costa Rican, Caribbean and Transatlantic voyages for the season.

The 7-day Baltic voyage of Windstar Cruises' Wind Surf sailing cruise begins on July 9, 2011, and offers visits to architectural wonders, monuments, picturesque villages and landscapes from Le Havre and Dieppe in France to Brugge in Belgium, and Oslo and Kristiansand in Norway. The cruise line also offers four more itineraries for Baltic voyage that embrace visits to quiet shores in more Baltic countries, including Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Finland and Russia.

Windstar’s Holy Land cruise, beginning on October 15, features a 10-day voyage rich with history, ancient ruins, museums and archeological sites across Israel, Jerusalem, Greece, Egypt, Cyprus and Turkey.

For those wishing to sail to the World War II sites, charming towns, castles and fishing villages in France and Lisbon, the Windstar 7-day European voyage beginning on July 2, is a must. The voyage also offers an optional post tour to Paris.

Then there is a voyage offering Costa Rica itineraries for lush jungles, pristine beaches, wildlife sites and a Panama Canal Transit, departing on December 31.

The Caribbean cruise, leaving from Barbados features visits to ports, white-sand beaches and azure waters in the Caribbean destinations.
