A Pennsylvania woman purposely rammed her car into an oncoming vehicle in order to "test her faith in God". She escaped unhurt but injured two in the incident that happened Jan. 7 on Route 93 near Weatherly.

The woman, identified as Nadejda Reilly, from Drums, said god was there to take care of whoever was hurt, authorities said.

“Reilly related God took care of her by not having her injured,” according to the arrest affidavit. “Reilly expressed no concerns or remorse for the victims. Reilly also stated she did not care if the other people were injured because God would have taken care of them.”

The two injured persons in the other vehicle were taken to a hospital for treatment.

The woman told police she waited for God’s instruction while driving around the area for several hours before intentionally colliding with the other vehicle.

Reilly was charged with aggravated assault and other offenses. Her bail initially was set at $50,000 but it was revoked Wednesday.

Reilly’s lawyer Andrew Theyken Bench filed an appeal to waive her formal arraignment in Carbon County court, WTAE reported. The lawyer was not available for comments.
