She was set to finally explore a romance with the man she’s been secretly falling for-until he found her phone records and realized she was hiding something about the night of JT’s murder from him. Now, Sharon may finally crack under the pressure and reveal the whole story of that night to Rey on the Thursday, Feb. 14 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Sharon (Sharon Case) was elated when Rey (Jordi Villasousa) came to her and revealed his true feelings on the CBS soap, and while she initially cautioned him to try and work things out with his wife, Mia (Noemi Gonzalez), she finally admitted to sharing similar feelings as well. However, as she went to get them both a drink, Rey came across her phone bill statements and discovered that on the night of JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) murder, Sharon, who had been at Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) house, had called 911. Now, he wants answers, especially since the murder has been his case to solve.

Naturally, Sharon will try to deflect and get him to believe that there’s nothing to the call, but Rey won’t back down. As he continues to ask questions and try to get to the truth, Sharon may finally find herself doing the one thing she swore she wouldn’t do.

“Sharon caves under pressure” spoilers tease.

The problem with Sharon potentially giving Rey the whole—and real—story is that it could wind up taking down more than just her, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Nikki and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Revealing the truth and who knows what can also implicate Victor (Eric Braden), Nick (Joshua Morrow), Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) as well, since they also all know more about the murder.

Now, if she finally tells Rey the truth, there’s no telling the consequences they all could face.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
