Nick on "The Young and the Restless"
Nick (Joshua Morrow) goes to Sharon (Sharon Case, not pictured) when he finds more evidence proving Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson, not pictured) may have killed Adam on the March 31, 2017 episode of “The Young and the Restless.” CBS

He’s been suspicious that Chloe may have killed Adam and has more evidence that implies she truly did commit murder. Now, as he considers his next step, Nick will confide in Sharon about his investigation on the Friday, March 31 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Nick (Joshua Morrow) placed a tracking device on Chloe’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) car and traced her to a garbage can. There, he uncovered the box holding the tranquilizer gun she used to shoot Adam in the cabin that fateful night, as well as a wrench. Now, in a preview clip for the newest episode of the CBS soap, he will ask Sharon (Sharon Case) for advice on what to do, and she will encourage him to bring his findings to Paul (Doug Davidson).

“Paul is your best bet,” she says. “If you want the truth, it’s the only way.”

As the two discuss what he has found and the comments that led to more suspicion about Chloe, Sharon will also remember how Dylan had concerns about the case as well before he left town. She will then reveal to Nick that Dylan had confided in her that when he looked at the cabin after the explosion, it appeared to him that the propane tank had been tampered with. That information gives purpose to the wrench Chloe tossed out, and Nick may decide that Sharon is right — going to Doug is the only solution if he hopes to solve the case.

However, his doing so could still lead to more trouble as Chloe is pushing to find any way she can to cover her tracks and protect herself before the truth is exposed. If she feels he could threaten her happiness, she may feel obligated to strike again.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
