She managed to escape going to jail when JT was proven to be alive, but Victoria is still struggling to cope with all the stress from the last year of her life, and as a result, she could begin to spiral and lose control once again on the Wednesday, April 3 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Not long after JT (Thad Luckinbill) was revealed to be suffering from a brain tumor when he did everything he was responsible for, he was arrested for the crimes he committed. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) became unsuccessful at shielding their son, Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) from the scene on the CBS soap, and she hasn’t seemed entirely okay ever since all the charges against her were dropped. As she continued to struggle, she abruptly left town without telling anyone where she was really planning on going or what she was doing, and later checked into a hotel under an assumed name. Now, as it’s revealed she’s hiding out in Las Vegas, it will become clear that her struggling to cope is pushing her over the edge.

“Victoria lets herself relax,” spoilers reveal.

As she lets loose and parties more than a thousand miles away from everyone she loves, it will become clear to those she left behind that she’s trying to run away from her problems and push everyone away. The last time this happened was when the stress of keeping the secret about JT’s presumed death was eating away at her—but this time, it could be even worse.

The last time Victoria began acting out when she felt too pressured by her life she wound up kissing Cane (Daniel Goddard) a few times—which has also wreaked havoc on his life since Billy (Jason Thompson) caught them at one point and then reported it to Lily (Christel Khalil). She has since filed for divorce from Cane, and while Victoria doesn’t know that she caused that grief yet, the reckless behavior is a pattern that has consequences. If she continues to act out again, there could be even more to face up to as a result later on.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
