She returned to Genoa City to tell Adam she had no intention of ever being with him again and became uneasy when her new husband followed her to town. Now, as she prepares to leave again and go back to her new life, Chelsea will wind up landing in some unexpected trouble instead on the Friday, July 5 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

Chelsea (Melissa Clare Egan) was surprised when Calvin (John Burke) showed up in town as well and admitted he had tailed her to make sure she was going to be okay, considering she has a lot of history in Genoa City. After meeting Nick (Joshua Morrow) and then escorting Chelsea away so they could head back home on the CBS soap, it seemed as if everything was settled and that was all anyone would hear from her again. However, as Calvin admits he too met with Adam (Marc Grossman), things could go awry, and Chelsea will instead see that she isn’t going to leave Genoa City at all.

“Chelsea’s in trouble,” spoilers reveal.

A Chelsea realizes Calvin and Adam met, and that Calvin may be rethinking what’s best for Connor’s future, Chelsea will become furious and they will have a heated argument. Since spoilers state she’s in trouble, their argument likely won’t end well, as Calvin may end up dead before it’s over.

However, while his death could keep Chelsea in town longer than expected, the trouble this causes her will be more than the standard sort that comes from death—and it will all be because of Adam.

It won’t take long for him to realize that Chelsea will be available for him to reunite with, and since his goal is to rebuild his family with her, he’s unlikely to relent on being with her and bringing Connor home. However, her history with Nick is also one that might play into her upcoming problems as well—and the brothers will also be fighting more than ever before,

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
