She was forced out of the deal for the hotel she had made the original concept for and was present at the opening when everyone was drugged by MDMA. Now, after getting the confession from the person responsible, Phyllis will find a way to save Abby and Chelsea’s business—but it will come at a cost for them on the Thursday, Sept. 12 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

After suspecting Zoe (Anna Grace Barlow) was behind the drugging incident, which saw Sharon (Sharon Case) and Devon (Bryton James) both briefly hospitalized and several other Genoa City residents doing things they later regretted on the CBS soap, Phyllis Michelle Stafford) took action and got the girl to confess—all while secretly recording her. Now, she has proof of the incident, something the police can’t get since she also hacked the security cameras and deleted the footage for leverage, and knows that Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) are eager to keep the Grand Phoenix afloat.

Now, with proof in hand of what happened, Phyllis is the only one who can keep the hotel from going bust faster than it had a chance to have its doors open. While the other women will be reluctant to let her back in on the deal, they may feel they have no choice, and sure enough, they’ll accept her terms in order to make sure Zoe is arrested.

“Phyllis comes to the rescue,” spoilers reveal.

Meanwhile, as everyone reels from what happened at the opening, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braden) are dealing with a crisis of their own following his new setbacks from his illness. Unaware that Adam (Marc Grossman) switched his real medication with a doubled-up dosage, they are growing concerned about what’s happening. However, Victor will insist that he doesn’t want their kids to know what’s happening, ordering Nikki to stay quiet.

“Victor wants Nikki to keep a secret,” spoilers state.
