Young and the Restless
Victor (Eric Braden) holds Jack’s (Peter Bergman) future in his hands on the Sept. 21, 2018 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”  Sean Smith/JPI Studios for CBS

They’ve been enemies for a long time, and could also be brothers. Now, as Jack continues trying to find answers about whether or not he and Victor are related, Victor may concede to helping his foe out on the Friday, Sept. 21 episode of “Days of Our Lives.”

After realizing Jack (Peter Bergman) was seeking out information on his father, Albert Miller, to see if he is also his son, Victor (Eric Braden) quickly took action to try and warn the other man from digging into his family business. Not only does Victor not want the man who he hates most in the world to be his half-sibling, but he also doesn’t want Jack to have any sort of legal claim to Newman Enterprises, which he could have if he was a member of the family. As a result, he refused to give Jack any DNA samples on the CBS soap.

Since then, Jack went on to reach out to Victor’s brother, Matt (Richard Gleason), to see if he would be willing to provide a DNA sample instead. However, after Victor saw the two together and expressed rage at his brother for betraying him, Matt will not refuse to give Jack what he needs. Insistent that the only way he can really get answers is by getting a sample from either Victor or Matt, Jack will try to figure out a way to get Victor on board with his plans.

Y&R Spoilers tease that Victor faces a very difficult decision, which could indicate he needs to decide if he will block Jack’s path towards the truth, or if he will relent and help him out.

Matt may be the one to convince his brother that letting Jack know the truth is the best way to handle the situation, but he will leave the choice completely up to Victor. Though he may want to keep Jack from being a part of his family, Victor may finally decide that he needs to do what’s right—and will concede to a DNA test which will change the lives of everyone in Genoa City.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EDT on CBS.
