He has planned to leave town with his sick wife so she can recover and they can stay safe from any dangers they may face. However, Victor’s plan for himself and Nikki may not go off as well as he hoped on the Monday, Dec. 31 episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

After learning that she had woken up from her coma, Victor (Eric Braden) took action to try and keep his wife, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) safe on the CBS soap. Scared that whoever hit her with the car was going to try and finish the job, he worked with Nate (Brooks Darnell) to transport Nikki elsewhere, but the plan went awry when she suffered a relapse and had to return to Genoa City. Nick (Joshua Morrow) found them when they returned and has since insisted that they bring her back, but Victor’s henchman refused.

Now, it appears Nick and Nate will find themselves bringing Nikki to her husband, despite what they think is best for her. “Y&R” spoilers reveal that Victor sets his plan in motion.

Though he may be able to convince Nick and Nate to let him do what he feels is necessary though, it doesn’t mean things will be all smooth sailing for the plan. Victor has taken a big risk heading back to town at all, and if Rey (Jordi Villasousa) somehow figures out that he’s there and catches up with him before he and Nikki can escape, it could force some difficult truth to finally come out.

“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
