Bob Morley, who’s in his sixth season as Bellamy Blake on The CW’s “The 100,” is set to make his directorial debut with Tuesday’s new episode of the post-apocalyptic series.

While chatting with International Business Times at New York Comic Con last year, the actor and first-time director opened up about the opportunity.

“I wouldn’t want to do it anywhere else, first time directing,” he told IBT. “I’ve been on this show for six years, known this crew for six years, and the cast are like some of my best friends, and I can’t imagine a better place for me to kind of try and achieve those goals.”

He continued: “Everyone’s very supportive. It’s very heartwarming to know that [show creator] Jason [Rothenberg] and the writing team and everyone else has that belief in me to do it. It’s definitely not easy, and it’s definitely terrifying, but we’re such a family up there, and we kind of have to be with the amount of stuff we’ve all gone through.”
