A 13-year-old boy fatally shot his classmate for bullying him repeatedly. The incident took place inside a school in central Thailand on Wednesday.

According to local reports, the accused, wearing a black mask and gloves, shot the victim, identified as 13-year-old Chonlasit Boonchan, right outside their classroom before rushing to the bathroom to change his clothes with an intention to flee. He was, however, caught by senior students.

In the meantime, the teachers performed CPR on the victim before the emergency responders arrived. However, the boy succumbed to injuries before reaching the hospital. The victim had a gunshot wound to the right side of his forehead.

Police arrived at the scene and questioned the teachers before taking the unidentified accused into custody in front of the childcare officials. The officers searched the boy’s bag and found a 7.65mm pistol. During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime and said he shot Boonchan because the latter repeatedly bullied and slapped him in his head. He said he couldn’t take it anymore.

In a similar incident in China earlier this year, a teen threw a student off the school building for bullying him. The victim suffered serious injuries including ruptured organs. The accused told the investigators that the victim always bullied him and that he couldn’t take it anymore.
