Three people were arrested Wednesday in connection with the assault and robbery committed against a 67-year-old Asian American man inside a California laundromat in February, San Francisco police said.

Calvin Berschell, Jason Orozco and Nolowde Beshears, all 19-year-olds and of Antioch, California, were arrested for attacking the unidentified victim, the San Francisco Police Department said in a statement.

The attack took place on Feb. 23 near the Nob Hill and Chinatown border, according to KABC-TV. Police retrieved surveillance video from the scene which showed the man being viciously attacked and robbed by the three suspects at around 10 p.m., the outlet reported.

In the video footage, the trio could be seen kicking the victim, who was not accompanied by anybody at the time of the attack. The suspects could then be seen dragging the man off his chair and onto the ground before rummaging through his pockets for valuables, ABC News said in a report.

The suspects reportedly swindled several hundred dollars in the attack. The victim was later treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators detained the suspects after serving arrest warrants on two addresses in Antioch, according to the police statement. Police seized firearms from the arrest site.

In addition to the Feb. 23 episode, the suspects were also wanted for multiple auto burglaries in the neighborhood, authorities said.

The detainees were charged with burglary, robbery, elder abuse, fraudulent use of a credit card and assault likely to produce great bodily harm. The investigation is still ongoing, according to the statement.

Earlier this month, a 39-year-old California woman was slapped with an "anti-Asian hate crime" charge for allegedly using a racial slur against an Asian store staff and spitting on an Asian American man who was eating in a restaurant. The woman, identified as Marie Inman, was charged with petty theft, robbery and two counts of violation of civil rights by force or threat after the two incidents.
