'80s Popstar Tiffany Apologizes After Swearing At Fans During Florida Concert: ‘I Panicked’

Pop singer Tiffany, who rose to fame in the 1980s, has issued an apology for unleashing unsavory words during a concert at Iron Oak Post in Melbourne, Florida.

The “All This Time” singer said she was “horrified for the last couple of days” and apologized to fans and concertgoers who attended the Sunday event.

Tiffany, whose real name is Tiffany Darwish, took to her Instagram and Twitter pages Wednesday night and explained the reason why she suddenly stopped in the middle of a song and cursed at her audience.

“I think we're alone now . There doesn't seem to be anyone around,” the 50-year-old singer began her video singing a few lines from her 1987 hit, “I Think We’re Alone Now.”

She said, "Hey guys, can we chat? I am so sorry. I panicked. It's not often that I lose my voice. And I got up there and just absolutely had a panic attack — a meltdown."

"And out of my frustration, I said things that I don't mean at all. I love you guys so very, very much…I wanna say thank you to everybody who has shown concern…I have just been horrified for the last couple of days because I’ve just not been in that situation," she continued.

Tiffany told fans that she "prides" herself in being able to "come and bring it" in shows. She said she “had no clue she had a vocal problem.”

"It literally freaked me out. I'm sorry for any off-color things that I said, it's definitely not the norm for me. Sorry I had a panic attack and freaked out," she pointed out.

TMZ, on Monday, reported about Tiffany’s nervous moment while she was performing on "I Think We're Alone Now" and included a clip of the singer swearing at the audience as her voice cracks and she struggles to hit several notes in the song.

In the clip, the singer lashes out at fans and tells the crowd, "F*** You!!!"

The report said the singer might have become frustrated with the loss of her voice during the concert. She must have also been teased by hecklers during the performance, according to a representative of the singer.

Tiffany's fans forgave the singer and took to social media to show their support following her apology.

"I have been a fan of yours for a very long time and have met with you several times. I have been suffering from panic attacks for years so I know what it's like but stay strong and know that we all love you,” Twitter user @Unicode said.
