‘90 Day Fiancé’ Update: Larissa Reflects On Getting Back Together With Ex-Boyfriend

Although it appears “90 Day Fiancé” star Larissa Santos Lima got back together with Eric Nichols rather quickly, the TLC star insisted that they spent two months rebuilding their relationship before officially getting back together.

During the Sunday night episode of “90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?” Season 5, Larissa told her friend Carmen that she got back together with her ex-boyfriend, Eric. Unfortunately, their rekindled romance cost Larissa her friendship and her home.

Following Larissa’s split with her ex-husband, Colt Johnson, she had nowhere to live in Las Vegas, and Carmen opened up her home to Larissa.

However, it also meant Carmen was by Larissa’s side during her break up with Eric, and she admitted that she didn’t support the relationship. After Larissa told Carmen that she and Eric were back together, Carmen told Larissa she had to move out.

On Sunday, Larissa shared a photo of herself and Eric on Instagram and defended their rekindled romance.

“It was 9 weeks that @ericjosephnichols and I were not together last fall. In that time, I reflected on my goals, I even dated a bit. The decision for both Eric and I to get back together was not decided in one dinner together,” she explained.

“We talked about how we disappointed each other, and we forgave. That was the first step. The second step was admitting to one another that we still cared. The third step was discussing what we wanted to do different this time around and to not repeat past mistakes.”

Larissa claimed that although it appeared that she and Eric easily worked through their issues on “90 Day Fiancé,” she insisted that she tried to explore other romances before rekindling their relationship.

“I had a good two months of self-reflection, but we were drawn back to one another. Just as so many couples marry, separate, get back, separate again. For everyone, there is a unique story,” she wrote.

“I do not know the future, but I know what I want. I love my current relationship, I’m happy. Love is not just saying beautiful words you think the other wants to hear. Love is forgiveness and loyalty. It may take time, but when you get there, the journey was worth it.”

From the looks of next week’s promo, it appears Larissa and Eric’s relationship will be tested when she learns that he has been texting another woman.
