Eva Green is no stranger to the science-fiction genre, having been involved with the series "Penny Dreadful." Now, she is being tied to Marvel's upcoming MCU movie, "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness." Rumor has it that she will be joining the film in a major role.

According to CBR, the French A-lister said that she doesn't know about any connections to a role in the film. She was quick to add that she wouldn't be appearing in any Marvel film anytime soon. However, she did say that she wanted to watch a movie connected to the production, though, and that she would love to see the upcoming film, "Black Widow."

Her connection with the film could be because of her past projects. Green was noted for her performance in "300: Rise of an Empire" and " Sin City: A Dame to Kill For." She was also in a prominent role in the films "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" and "Dumbo."

There is very little known about "Doctor Strange 2" at the moment, but the actress is taking rumors about her inclusion lightly. She went so far as to make it clear that she is not totally opposed to playing someone connected to the MCU, according to Games Radar. She said that the movies are very entertaining for her, which was why she admired the Marvel brand.

The reports, as they came in last year, were that the actress was supposed to play the entity Nightmare. She denied any connection whatsoever. Instead, she spoke in length about her upcoming film, "Proxima." In "Proxima," she portrays an astronaut who is stuck between work and home.

Many famous actors, aside from Green, have been connected to the upcoming film. However, details have been skillfully and expertly hidden. Most of what has surfaced about the movie are speculations and rumors.

Some might have a grain of truth in them, owing to how everything in the MCU is interconnected. There are reports that the movie ties directly into "WandaVision" and that its director, Scott Derrickson, will be replaced by Sam Raimi of Sony's "Spider-Man" films.
