Luxury brand Agent Provocateur has added French actress Mylène Jampanoï to their long list of celebrity models for featuring in their spring/summer 2012 campaign.

The half-Chinese model, Jampanoï, has thus joined celebrities including supermodel Kate Moss, Dita Von Teese, Alice Dellal and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who have earlier featured in many successful campaigns for the brand.

The advertising campaign attempts to recreate the sensuality of the seventies in a series of soft-focus lens style photos. Taken by director Jordan Scott, daughter of Ridley Scott, the images were created using soft lighting to produce a hazy ambience effect.

Apart from the ad images, Scott was also involved in creating a series of short films to help launch and promote the campaign.

To style and give the perfect seventies look, celebrity stylist and Parisian model Valentine Fillol-Cordier was selected to work on the campaign.

After several successful campaigns featuring powerful femme fatales in high-octane bold imagery, I decided that I wanted to take a softer approach for Spring Summer 2012. I am a huge fan of the soft focused era, the glowing scenes from the gently erotic films such as Emmanuelle and The Story of O and my collection of vintage Playboy Magazine made me want to re-introduce the sensuality and flirtation of the 70's into our campaigns, the Daily Mail quoted Creative Director Sarah Shotton speaking about the campaign.

Born in Aix-en-Provence, France, Jampanoï is known for her exotic looks and is mainly acclaimed for her role in the controversial horror film Martyrs.
